Good call. I did not. They have it on hold for me to decide upon in the AM. I haven't asked about a discount. Are they quoting you $699 for the 65" display model?

Found a display model locally. $999 - 20% since it's display and they can't find the stand. 5000 hours on it though. I passed for now. Guy said to call back on Tuesday as they might be marking them down more then. If I can get it for 699 I'll bite, but I don't have a place to mount it and I don't think the extra 48" C2 stand I have will fit it.

No offense to those that do, and the reasons are none of my business, but buying an extended warranty on any of these is odd. You're taking a huge chunk out of your slick deal right off the top, and something probably less than 5% of people buying them ever use or need.

I grabbed the last 55" $750 and tried to buy the 65" display but they couldn't find the stand and didn't mention extra discount on the $999 so I left it.

Well, I got one. Display model for $819 out the door. Would only do extra 20% for display and no stand, and remote from a B2 they had sitting around. When I got it home, I finally found how to check hours and it looks like they turned it on and never turned it off. 8k+ hours, no burn-in anywhere. When I turned it back on in the store it asked to be pixel refreshed or something. Did it at home. There's supposed to be two more stores as of yesterday with a single one left in town. I'll look at one of those Monday if the website still says one left. But the hours probably won't be much less.

I'll have to figure out how to get the cursor working on the magic remote at some point.

Went to one store this morning showing a few and none was located. I then drove an hour away to another store. They checked via the phone and nothing found. I then decided to call again that same store and spoke to someone in electronics who claimed they had 3 available. I got there and none were located. Employees claimed they must of given me the wrong model. Got manager involved, he looked personally and voila! found it in the back and offered $100 off for the inconvenience. Not bad after all...Not impressed with it I downgraded from a 70 inch led to oled.
