Yeah, but ceramic is 3-4x the price. though I haven't hunted for ceramic deals. even with a slickdeal, it's gotta be over $100 for ceramic

I bought lots of these many years ago when my Walmart had them on clearance for $35. I kept one and I love it. I bought the cooking stone and the thing works great. I usually smoke a rack of ribs (cut into 2 pieces) but Ive also done boston butts, brisket, and even a whole turkey one Thanksgiving. It barely uses any lump charcoal and is big enough for what I cook for my family. Recommend!

Really solid reviews. I picked one up. Now to figure out if it came with the ceramic heat deflector. I bought a cover for it and a charcoal chimney.
