I use it for office work so the single usb-c for video/power and the hub with ethernet were a big draw. I like that I can have one usb-c connection to my Macbook for everything. A few things:
I can confirm the ethernet connector is gigabit. I couldn't verify that anywhere before purchase so, in case you were wondering, it's indeed gigabit.
I don't know why, but the ethernet connector will randomly disconnect under heavy usage until I power cycle the monitor. Might be faulty hardware, my mac, or my network. I searched the web and couldn't find anyone else with the issue so I've chalked it up to bad luck. I purchased an inexpensive usb gigabit ethernet adapter that I plugged into the back of the monitor and it works great.
For mac users: if you want to be able to control the brightness and volume of this monitor using your keyboard you can do so with an app called "MonitorControl" (https://github.com/MonitorControl/MonitorControl). Much more convenient then fiddling with the joystick on the back of the monitor.
Overall, despite the ethernet issue I have no regrets with this purchase and love this monitor.
Did some research and found out why this is happening. Both of us were partially correct.
The reason I'm getting full USB 3.0 speeds is because I'm outputting video HDMI-HDMI and everything else through USB-C.
If you are outputting video through USB-C (e.g. single cable connection from monitor to laptop), the bandwidth is cut in half and all ports on the built-in hub are limited to 2.0 speeds because there is simply not enough bandwidth to support full resolution at max refresh plus gigabit Ethernet plus USB 3.0 ports. Apparently this is the case with most USB-C monitors with USB ports.
The only way to get all of the above through a single cable connection is if you have a relatively new PC that supports DP 1.4 (8K/60) with USB 3.0 mode and enable 1.4 on the monitor (which is on by default). Mac currently does not have this option. Learned something new today.
Tl;dr: You won't get full USB 3.0 speeds through a single cable connection unless your device supports DP 1.4 with USB 3.0 mode.
Tested this on both my PC and M1 Pro MBP

I have a mac M1 air which supports only one display but with some docks I can use 2 displays. Can the built in dock support 2 displays ?
It's really just a usb-c kvm "dock", if you connect this through the same mechanism (display link dock) you'll get same effect and can use it the same way
If you have a Chase card, check Chase offers, they have 10% off at Staples offer up to $17.00 cashback to sweeten the deal. I see it available for my Freedom card.
Why do people get this compared to say a 32' 4k monitor or 32' 4k curved monitor? Isn't 4k much better than the ultrawide resolution?
Why do you think you need a 4k monitor? At this size 1440 is totally acceptable for thinks like spreadsheets, calendars, coding, etc. Unless you have a pretty substantial gaming rig, your not going to be able to effectively use the total resolution of a 4k monitor anyway. Lots of people play at reduced resolutions.
People generally buy UWQHD monitors for the aspect ratio. Sometimes, people want more horizontal space without also getting a bunch of useless additional vertical space. All else equal, the additional DPI would be nice, but if you can find an ultra wide monitor with 2160 lines of resolution for anywhere near this price please post it.

32" 4K is really nice when working with text, code, or spreadsheets. Speaking from experience, as I have a triple 4K setup. I'm using 150% scaling and the text is very smooth as you can't see individual pixels anymore. Someone with younger eyes can probably use 125% and have a bit more useful estate

There's no display out port on the display, no daisy chain. If the old setup is one USB-C cable to a docking station with two monitors, you cannot duplicate that with the built-in dock alone, unless you keep the old docking station and use this as just another monitor.

You use 3 of these? I heard people say using even two 32' 4k monitors side by side would be not comfortable. You have a regular 32' 4k monitor or a curved one?
How big is your table or desk in terms of length, width and height? How far you have to be from each monitor to be comfortable? When you turn your neck left and right, does it bother you? Or it doesn't because you are very far from the monitors? I heard you should be 6 feet from a 32' 4k monitor? However, if you need a deep desk in order to be that far back right? Like if you have a small table or desk and you are too close to the monitors, it's very uncomfortable right?

Yes, I'm using three 32" 16:9 flat screens on a stand with side monitors angled about 40 degrees. My eyes are 3' away from the screens. If they were 6' away then I could as much be using FHD screens and wouldn't see the difference. I mostly use the central one of course, but turning my head about 30 degrees to use the left or right one when I need it doesn't hurt.
I don't have a desk, this is actually a simrig (Obutto r3volution) with a movable keyboard/mouse tray, and it's been fine for both work and simracing. I probably wouldn't recommend using three 32" screens on a normal desk unless it is deep enough and you can be sitting at least 3 feet away from them.
I also just got another 32" 4K monitor for my wife who's gonna be using it with her laptop on a normal desk. She used to have a 27" 4K before and 5 inches more wouldn't hurt (that's what she said ) as she has to deal with lots of big spreadsheets in her line of work.
I posted that one (32" 4K IPS with USB-C 90W PD for $225 was a great buy), but mods removed the post as not conforming to the policy for ebay listings.

I have two 34" 4k and I have no issue whatsoever. But I also don't really "turn my head side to side all day". Sure I go back and forth but even sitting the standard distance away (close enough to operate the mouse & keyboard on the desk) this isn't an issue. Maybe if you're a super fast code monkey or gamer or something where fast twitch side to side is required it could be an issue. But I've had no issue's whatsoever with mine. I have a prior model of the one in this listing and I'm about to mount it above these two using an arm and tilt it slightly down for various streams of info including my IPTV on half the screen and then sports scores, stock ticker, and a news scroll from an RSS feed stacked on the right side of that monitor. That way if I need a quick 10 mins break I can just lean back, let my back and neck rest and keep up to speed on the stuff which matters to me.

Talk to the Staples customer service chat. They asked me to place the order and applied the discount afterwards
