Dude didn't seem to want to help me figure it out so I just returned those items. He did verify that I am an ITC member though.

Looks like discount applies automatically for ITC members. Would the coupon I scanned somehow overridden the better coupon? That seems like a glitch.

The only explanation I can think of is yours... that presenting a coupon overrode your existing/better discount (intentional or not).
