I have to say resisting this at $299 and now $269 shows how much I've matured.
Not to mention that the bass that's coming this week will fill up the remaining available guitar stand and if I bought another guitar I'd have to buy another guitar stand.

MF's 'Stupid Deal Of The Day' is 2 Hurcules Stands for $59.98
LOL. I thought the same thing when I saw that this morning. As much as I like offset guitars and guitars that do weird things like pickup splitting, I really need to hold off until I find a baritone that suits my needs.

I got a Squire Baritone Tele for about $279 from ProAudioStar. Swapped the bridge lipstick pick-up for Seymour Duncan Hotrail. Added a neck Seymour Duncan Humbucker (there is slot carved out underneath the stock pick guard.) swapped the pickguard for a new one with necessary curts.
Kept the OG string gauge cuz it holds tuning well. I keep it on B standard and practice "Pursuit of the Vikings" by Amon Amarth.

I highly recommend it.
That's one of the ones I was looking at. But as much as I love telecasters, My ribs and arms hate them. It's not bad standing up but since I play mostly sitting down it's not enjoyable. If someone made an affordable tele baritone with a forearm contour and belly cut I'd be all over it.

Oh I know what you mean. I think the next cheapest baritone option is Danelectro
