Deal has returned - $2 per 2 cubic foot bag. Expires May 1.
YMMV as it appears to be location based. All the stores near me (Delaware) are $2. My local store said out of stock online, but they had two pallets in stock.

At this price, this is actually cheaper than the bulk nurseries. Get brown if u worry about fading. And if you worry about fading, then you shoukdnt be gardening. who would reasonably expect the added dye to not fade quickly the elements. And so what if it does.
I've used this before in large quantities, and it was great. But that was a few years ago.
Lowes refunded all 50 bags, despite me opening two and dumping them out. CS was awesome and couldn't believe it when I showed them the pictures.

I put 15 bags of black mulch down yesterday. It rained and the color is completely gone. Not worth it if you care about the quality.
This year, no issue with color fading (some have mentioned) after first rain which was same day as laying at down.
It says not to lay it down if rain is coming in 24-48 hours.
