any stackable codes to make the deal a little better?
I'll reply to my own, since I found one. Discover card's Q2 promotion includes Home Improvement stores, for 5% cash back. So, that's $149 x .95 = $141.55
Kroger/Frys Food has 4x fuel points, which equates to 600pts on a $150 Lowes Gift card, which is $.60 off a gallon of gas x 35 gallons = $21 in savings. I also purchased this with my discover card, which has 1% back, so another $1.50. Finally, the remaining $10 tax on $149 at 5% equals $.50, so a total of $23 off.
If you have more than one store in your city, check each location. I had one that popped up for $109 for the same deal and $149 at the opposing store.
I originally clicked the link and it defaulted me to a store at 109. I changed store to a local one and price went up to $149. I cant get back to the store that was 109 for some odd reason.

I have a couple of those $10 kobalt batteries. I picked up any brand on a deal. I modded my Ridgid drill to take em all. Not the best deal though, the best deal were those 4ah Ridgid batteries with full lifetime warranty for $25.

Kudos is running a 20% back on Lowe's till 5/30 if you have discover It card or other card which gives 5% on Lowes. There is a $20 signup too using code NANIDNI_KUDOS.

I checked all available location in Atlanta. They have the same price on all stores.
I decided to pickup one with brushless next-gen reciprocating saw. Great deal for $150 with 2 4Ah batteries.

I still have some from that deal. Hacked into a few of them for other projects since I didn't want to pay for the charger.
Now and days, they make all types of adapters for these batteries. I have mostly Ryobi batteries and was surprised that they make a 24v Kobalt to 18v Ryobi battery adapter even though they run at different voltages. I believe they have a voltage step down converter in those adapters, too bad you can't charge the Kobalt batteries using the ryobi charger with the adapter.
I just got one of those ryobi female battery adapters so I can revive an old Shark handheld vacuum that uses 18v nimh batteries. That way, I can keep swapping the ryobi batteries out in between charges.

I see 109 for a two pack battery without the charger.

$160 - $23 = $137 (effectively) out the door.
