The iPhone 11 is very old at this point, I wouldn't recommend anything older than the iPhone 12.

I had an iPhone 11 up until 2023 and the main issue was that the chip would get crazy hot. Battery was also affected by that

I was using an iPhone 11 like 6 months ago and it was behaving totally fine. Disagree that it's not usable right now, and the battery life will be right up there with the 12 whose battery life was natively poor.

Maybe they've changed the terms. Between 4/20 and 6/1, I ordered four iPhone11's from two accounts (mine and wife's), all shipped to the same street address and received.
I also recall seeing in some past threads that things like that were sometimes enforced very sporadically. Like a few people would report dong that not problem then a couple would mention getting cancellations for it, and then some more get through. So it could be a policy change, but also might just be their typical flakiness at play.

Ported a GV number a few days ago. As of now everything is working fine, calls text data all work.

But on the total site my account is still "inactive" and 611611 will not give and unlock date, just an error.

Is this normal? Should I wait it out, or do I need to contact CS
Same situation. Has the problem been solved?

Spigen is usually good for cases -- JETech or SuperShieldz or Ailun for screen

Search Amazon:
"iphone 11 spigen case"
"iphone 11 screen protector" (look for ones with lots of reviews -- some have "installation tool" included to make it easier to line up)
Spigen are the best and my favorite 👍🏽

Based on the reply a little earlier, it sounds like it may take a few extra days before everything finally kicks in on the account status. You could probably give them a call if you need to get something going, but otherwise giving it a bit more time might be easier.

Just want to come back to add another Google Voice data point:

6/8 (Sat) - unblocked the GV number for $3 and activated phone
6/10 (Mon) - received email from Google informing that number was ported out
6/13 (Thurs) - phone successfully activated - you'll no longer see the "porting in process" message in your account

I did not have to contact Google or Total. I guess in some cases you just have to wait longer.

Cool … glad they got it worked out. Some things are probably quick fixes, but I hesitate to call a lot of times because their support can be really hit or miss at times. I always dread the hold-transfer-disconnect loops that can sometimes crop up. Smilie

I bought 2 iPhone 11s in May-2024, ported a TING number and a Google voice number, got 2 lines activated with $50 per month plan. I am nearing the completion of first month.

Can I now port these 2 numbers to Metro by T mobile?
Would that have any impact to getting both the iphone 11 unlocked after 60 days?

Please suggest. If someone has ported numbers to Total by Verizon and then ported same numbers to Metro by T mobile, share details please

Got 2 of them last week. Ported Google voice. Pretty seamless transition, though it took a couple of days for the Port to go through. $110 after taxes, only 2 month wait to unlock, cashback on certain sites, definitely recommended..

Just want to share about Chase Offer. The offer ended on 6/5 and I purchased on that day. I asked Chase client service and they told me the offer is only valid when the posted date is on or before 6/5. My transaction date is 6/6 (not sure why but I did take a screenshot of this transaction on 6/5) and posted date is 6/7. However, I still got the $15 statement credit on 6/10. So the offer may still be triggered if you place the order on the last day.

Chase and USBank had the same offer. I used the Chase offer for the 1st phone and the USBank offer for the 2nd phone. Had no problems getting the Chase credit, but had to fight with USBank. At first, the rep was saying that the purchase was billed by Verizon, not Total. But I pointed out that the Description of the transaction says Total-by-Verizon. She created a ticket for another department to review and a few days later they issued the credit.

I placed 2 orders on mine and 2 for wife. Wife's got cancelled.
I got delivery of 2 and porting from spectrum to total but it won't activate.
Spectrum tells me port failed due to incorrect pin but total asked for account number and pin was never asked.
Tried calling total few times and they were r able to fix

You must've missed it. Total always asks for the Port PIN during the Activation Port-In process.

Yes.
* If you don't currently have a phone on TF, then activate Flip phone #1 with a new phone number. The bundled 1200/1200/1200 and 1-yr of service will be added to phone #1 at activation. Then activate Flip phone #2 WITH A TRANSFER from Flip phone #1. The phone number of phone #1 and its balances/days will be transferred to phone #2, then its own bundled 1200/1200/1200 and 1-yr will be added on top. If you're fine with using the flip phone, that's it. If you prefer to use another Bring Your Own Phone, buy a $1 BYOP TF SIM Kit and transfer service from phone #2 to the BYOP Phone.
* If you currently have a phone on TF (let's call it phone A), then activate Flip phone #1 WITH A TRANFER from phone A. The phone number of phone A and its balances/days will be transferred to Flip pnone #1, then the bundled buckets and 1-yr get added on top. Activate phone #2 with a transfer from phone #1. Then finally transfer service from phone #2 back to phone A.

All of the activations and transfers can be done yourself on TF web site.
Just wondering why do you need to buy a $1 BYOP TF SIM?
Can you just insert SIM card from Flip-phone into your phone?
The reason I asked cuz most carriers allow you to insert your SIM card into any unlocked phone. So I am just a bit confused.

TF is not like other providers. They frown on SIM-swapping, especially swapping a SIM from a TF-branded phone into another phone because the SIM of a TF-branded phone is paired with the IMEI of the original phone in their database. Some people will say that they've done SIM-swapping with TF and didn't get into problems, but there are also reports from people that I know on Howard Forums who had their service shut down after swapping TF SIMs. It's like people who say they drive above the speed limits but never got caught. Do it at your own risk.
