If one knows it will be a wireless backhaul mesh. If one is able to use Ethernet or MOCA, then make sure it supports a wired backhaul.

Some negative reviews suggesting this isn't recommending.

* weak coverage
* doesn't connect to the closet node
* app to manage the APs are slow

For reviews you need to filter by newest, there are times when you need to update firmware. I have an Orbi mesh system that some people have major issues with mine has been strong and solid and I have at least 45 devices connected, large house streaming cameras.

I think sometime the router is blamed for modem, ISP speed issues or desktop issues.

Just a data point for those curious; tried swapping my Asus ax82u with this system; complete hot garbage; app is buggy to set up and once set up devices kept disconnecting even after repositioning the child node and channel scanning to reduce interference; this is going straight back to Amazon; still have weak signal with my Asus but at least devices stay connected ; TL;DR Asus > Linksys not worth the $

I have this set. All my devices are stuck on the parent node. Would not recommend.
