This showed up via FireTV when I turned my set on, today. The moving banners at the top showed a message to earn $5 credit by watching a Ford video. Once you've done that, it generates an email, including a link to the Prime Video site, notifying you of your credit, which expires 30 June 2024. Email below:

Here's how to use your Prime Video credit:

Step 1: Visit the Prime Video store on web, mobile, or television

Step 2: Choose a movie or TV show and select from its purchase options

Step 3: The credit will automatically be applied to your eligible selection

I don't have ads at the top of my home screen. Just large previews of whatever top row content I have highlighted. I was able to snag the Hershey's, Ford and Texas onves for $13 total so far. The PNC Bank one showed up, but when I clicked it just said "Loading..." for a while until it errored out and had to go back to the home screen. Will mess with it again later.

Anybody know if these credits apply at the same time you use your no rush credits?

Can you only use these credits on certain videos? I got the Hershey and the PNC and got the email confirming the $5 credit for each, but when I select a movie or show to a watch, the credit is nowhere to be found, just the full price

I still use my second monitor for PC stuff and just had the Firestick running in OBS in a small window. For me it was easier just to plug in the 2 USB plugs from the Capture device and Firestick power into my USB hub since I already had the Capture device to use on my laptop.

Have they ever fixed how slow the fire sticks are? It was so slow I couldn't take it so I switched to Roku and never looked back. The TV that has fire built in is so slow that it takes nearly a minute to get to the screen to change HDMI inputs to use my Roku.

Always stick with companies that specialize in things, Amazon does a lot of things but does not specialize in video streaming devices. And it shows.

Same here - I wonder if that recently ended - never got the email from Hershey and then watched it again and it said I already got the promotional credit…….but I did not 🤷🏻 ♂️

I got the email from hersheys when I watched the video but I never actually got the credit. I checked my digital purchases to make sure I'm not just a doofus. Nothing. Weird. There's a new one for $5 Coca Cola and marvel.
