It isn't a full tang tool. The metal ends roughly where the plastic begins. Perhaps you have very soft well aerated soil. If you have clay or tough soil, this WILL break. I purchased a different weed extractor (same concept) that is full tang and has a wooden handle, and it's on its 6th season of hard use.

We have 2 of these. We are semi retired and we weed almost everyday (sadly). These are the best by design and quality. The tool is solid throughout. I do not see how yours broke. I have used many cheaper designs and brand but this is definitely the best manual weeder on the market.

The tool that I replaced this plastic Fiskars tool with is a WORKPRO. It's $9 on Amazon.

Why would I want another one if it broke the first time I used it?
Why not take advantage of the warranty? Your first one could've been a lemon. If it does same thing on second try, then I would agree this is trash.

I've used this for a couple of years now. It works well for me so far. Makes it easy to get the whole root structure.

I don't know what information those words are attempting to convey… Care to elaborate/type English words?

Fiskars is usually a good buy on a deal . . . but Connecticut Dandelions - you're just gonna make them angry with this thing.

No they don't. They used to be known for their quality but those days are long gone. Everything Fiskar's brand I've bought in the past 10 year has been absolute garbage. Literally Temu quality

I decided that this was the year to clear the dandelions from my lawn. My kids and I used this fiskars weeding tool and a tool similar to the workpro you linked. We pulled hundreds of dandelions from a hard clay soil and both tools held up just fine.

I preferred my workpro-like tool because it gave better leverage for pulling weeds, but mine is a bit longer than the workpro you linked. However, I found that the Fiskar was vastly superior in ergonomics and it caused me much less blistering.

Should one get a standup puller to avoid bending or kneeling? What do you recommend?

In case you are actually serious, Fisker vs Fiskars.

Sorry for your loss.....
Worse is yet to come when your try to use their life time warranty, they do not honor it anymore, at least not for me despite wally receipt and pics of broken product.
Once fine Euro company out for a bigger slice of American money, IMHO.
