If you so much as rest your hand on the cover, the couch will look like shit. I have a bit of OCD and am constantly adjusting these stupid things to look eye level near the bottom of the couch, the pattern is straight, blah blah blah.
I'd burn them in the yard if my wife would let me.
My only real complaint is the arms are pretty short, so if you're used to sitting on the couch sideways with your back against the arm (like I am) you won't find this one very comfortable
