They also made units with 9th gen CPU's after 2020 and can't run Windows 11, because they cheeped out on a TPM module... On a $1500 Laptop...
Great built units, but forget any support... For driver updates, I have to use the Intel Updater, and tell it that I'm okay with it overriding the LG "OEM" drivers...

If you switch laptops every 2-3 years, probably nothing to worry about. Tbh I probably just got a bad batch, but at the same time, one bad experience is enough for me.

A far better option for me at least was go get the HP DragonFly laptop coming in at only 2.2 pounds versus the 2.8 pounds of the LG gram. There are plenty of them on Ebay refurbished for around $700-$1,000 and many have a one year warranty
I have had to return a few in my day.
Possible YMMV, depending on your warehouse's specific manager's policy.
I have returned unopened and opened laptops. Costco is pretty much the best source for these because of the 90-day returns and 2nd year warranty. They just don;t always have the best price.

seems par for the course. I have an LG TV, washer, and dryer, but will avoid anything portable by them.
I also find the 16 inch to be the perfect size for a Gram. 17 is just a bit too big for on the go and at coffee shops imho. 14 is ok but for such a light weight I think this is the perfect size.
