There is no way...
What's the point of having 3050? It's an old tech, only ~25% faster while adding weight (2.82 lb vs 2.64lb) and depleting the battery - diminishing the main appeal of this laptop.
I'm new to this stuff is this better? Worse? About the same? I'm trying to find one for my kid learning Adobe photo and video editing.

I use it for work and light gaming with league of legends and Helldivers.
It works great for me and the form factor and weight is the main reason why I got it.
OLED is beautiful. I hope the battery lasts for all day clinic but other than that the quality is very much worth.
I upgraded from surface laptop 2 with 1050. That thing was heavy. I will miss touchscreen that I use rarely, but I'm so happy with this and the price… unmatched.
What's the better deal?
It needs to have a 16" 120hz oled, 90wh battery, and weigh 2.8 lbs.
I'll wait.

How battery life ? Can it last all day?

Is the glossy screen ok?

Is there an issue with getting this and just using the Arc graphics full time? Or is there another competitive 16" OLED laptop for less?

I agree, I'd get this one regardless. My only hesitance is the glossy screen.
And at worst I have 90 days to change my mind and get something with a better GPU and/or cooling. But as my most demanding apps are the occasional Lightroom and Photoshop I should be OK.
Beautiful screen. Better for indoors for sure.
Outdoors it's kinda harder to see.

Curious to hear what you think. I ended up with the (quickly sold out) $699 17" model. But this was sure tempting… maybe if it had a matte display.
I get 7-9 hours with using web browser than 60% brightness.

Yes. One thing that makes me comfortable trying a laptop I haven't seen in person.
