I got this last go around and returned it. It was great overall, but boy did I underestimate the size. The screen, although fantastic, fell short of expectations, being a somewhat poor resolution for the size of the screen overall. The build quality is superb and it was fantastic.

Anyone who doesn't mind this being a behemoth shouldn't think twice. Just be aware, you are NOT prepared for its size.

There are still people who use 24" 1080p monitors, so im guessing this is more than fine for most people.

Makes sense though. 1440p or 4k triple monitor would require constantly moving your head left and right closer to the screen if you were at 100% scaling.

1080p would let you comfortably sit back and see all 3 clearly.

If you think this is big, you clearly haven't seen the Alienware M18. Or the old Acer Predator 21 X. Now that's a desktop replacement.

Arrived today, have to return it as it came damaged. Cracked in one corner and bent hinge. Very certain, FedEx threw the box around as the bubbles that surround the laptop were deflated on one side. I plan to get a replacement though, love how big it is, build quality is actually nice, not as cheap feeling as I thought it would be.

Had this laptop for a while now at this price. Nice build quality. Love the screen. Took it with me recently to a hotel and you appreciate the screen size a lot more on the go. Put 64GB of ram in it and another cheap 1tb drive in there. Will eventually put a couple of 4tb drives in this thing once prices come down on ssds.
