If you're going to put these outside or in your garage I highly recommend spraying the bottom of the unit with spider poison first, there's a deep set waffle pattern on the bottoms of the shelves that spiders love making homes of. Speaking from experience

I finally live somewhere where my garage isn't full of widows so I can welcome the spiders.

Yup. I see stuff like this on the curb all the time. Might as well just ship these directly to the landfill

Garbage product, the claim of 100lb per shelf capacity is a joke

I was planning to use these for green house shelving

Do you recommend I pay substantial more for treated wood or stainless steel?

Wood is a lot more sustainable and really not hard to build one for yourself...

These work fine for light stuff. If you put more than maybe 40 pounds they do hold but it starts to bow. Plants would be fine IMO. I use them for light stuff in my basement just can't put ammo or like paint cans.

Like others mentioned, these are great for light duty items. The heavier items I place on the bottom shelf. These are great to store most common items in basement like Christmas lights and so on. Highly recommend them.

I bought this a few weeks back. This is not a high quality product. So keep your expectations reasonable considering the price for each.

They're okay and for the price I'll put them to use. Would I buy it again? Probably not! I don't recommend it but if your expectations as in place that these are light weight and not meant for holding large heavy items then it's ok.

If you can secure it to a wall that would be your best bet.

I agree with this. I use it to store 3d printer spools.
