I own the mid-tier model of this hose reel, and it's prob the best out there for the price. The hose length rating is for a normal "thin" garden hose. So if you are using a commercial or thick garden hose, expect to get about 50%-60% of the capacity since they are much thicker. I would caution that if your connect has one of those metal spring spirals or four in thick plastic sleeve to prevent crinkling, that hose will not work. The connector would stick out and not reel in correctly. Watch a YT video on the assembly. It's very sturdy, and worth the money, but it's built for regular garden hoses without various anti-crinkle features. If you do get this, I recommend getting a few sets of quick releases... you put that on the water facets, hose connector to the faucet, it makes life a lot easier if you want to move to different locations. Same if you have different sprayer heads or connect to a pressure washer.

In for one via price match with Home Depot (200 ft.). Ship to home and arrival in three days. Planning on initially using in back along with my 100' Zero-G hose. Love quick connects but I think that I'm noticing a decrease flow/pressure from my power washer due to the restricted outflow of the quick connect so may have to move my rubber hose from front to back.

This would appear to be on the thicker side. Typically, a 'thin' garden hose is one of those cheaper green colored ones that last about two or three seasons before it springs a leak. That said, if you have this model, it prob won't work very well since it has a long spring at the end to prevent kinks at the faucet/connection. If you look at the pictures of the hose reel, you will see a small brass "L shaped" connector to the spindle or barrel where you roll the hose on. That is where you connect your hose, and roll it up. The reel is built for a normal hose without any of these things that prevent kinks, as it will stick out and you won't be able to roll the hose cleanly. It might work, or it might not. I use it with a hose without a spring, or stiff rubber sleeve, and it rolls up on the spindle/barrel fine.

nothing, it's all dependent on the rep you get. I think I've seen some people post they didn't get it until the 5th or 8th try. You need to get lucky and have a lazy rep that doesn't really check the details...or maybe they've sent out a note about this because of the influx of price matching in the past week or so.

I just got it, its a bit expensive but feels pretty high quality i put it together and put it tested use quite quickly. Feels like great product but time will tell.

Got it a few days ago and love the build quality, but there's a warning on it that says if your hose has an aluminum endcap (which most of the hoses I've seen do) it can permanently fuse with the hose reel, and that you have to buy a brass to aluminum adapter.

Anyone familiar with good options for this? The official gorilla one was out of stock.
