I also tried Browning several years back and it sucked. My instinct now is to stick with a company that was making cameras or gadgets first and then made trail cams. Versus getting a trail cam from an outdoor/firearms company that decided to slap their brand on the cheapest foreign crap they could get their hands on.
Good deal! Just got mine today and set it up with a Verizon nano SIM card. Everything is working as described. Verizon charges $20 for 15GB per month. I'll need to wait and see how much data it goes through.

I don't have a major need for this camera but have always been super interested in these and the cost associated with them. What is everyone using as the service provider and what's been the cost? Also curious if you could set it to only upload motion events but record 24/7 for local retrieval of that data, I should look that up myself though. These things are pretty damn cool and I could see them being super useful for legit purposes and not so legit purposes.

How responsive is this camera as far as trigger times, and does it give you audio? I usually get $50 or so replacement trail cameras when mine crap out so I don't spend too much on the 7 that I have around our property - that way when they die (and they all do in 2 or 3 seaons) I'm not out much. The Garde Pro cameras[amazon.com] usually work best for me in the lower than $60 range, and when I tried a $100+ Browning camera, it was the worst one of the bunch, so I stay with the Garde Pro pretty much.

I use the normal Reolink Go and Go PT LTE solar cams for my property along with EIOTClub 2GB sim and plan for $10/mo. Both of them had issues with becoming unresponsive in the first couple weeks after install requiring manual in-person reboots and Reolink support provide a firmware update that solved the problem. After that they have been problem-free and I have lots of videos of deer, coyote, bobcat, raccoons, etc. almost daily. I think I paid around $120 for refurb models from Reolink. Going on 2 years this fall.

I just ordered one! Why did you choose Verizon (EIOT Club) over T-Movile (FreedomPop) or AT&T (Mint)?

how many wildlife pictures might I expect with 2gb?
I purchased this because it was the cheapest at $10/mo and now supports autopay. I never use the full 2Gb and often download high resolution clips.
do you use as a hunting trail cam? I usually get 500-1000 pictures on my cell cam but I have no idea how much data that ends up being. would 2gb be sufficient to upload that?

Yes I use it as a trail cam. I've had no issues running out of data. The default streaming quality is "fluent" which doesn't use much data and is good enough to clearly see and watch then you can switch to high resolution mode to download high res clips when you have that nice buck on camera. Lol. I have loads of clips from throughout the year of nice bucks. It's nice to have clear videos instead of photos.

EIOTCLUB doesn't just use Verizon. I purchased the dual network sim that uses ATT or T-Mobile.
