These are fun but I prefer the ANC 2 for $99 refurbished on ebay. They sound better and are more comfortable and have a better app. And they come with a hard case.
Tons of reviews say that the bass on the ANC 2 sounds worse than the Evo but if you 1) replace the earpads and 2) setup the personal EQ in-app, and 3) play around with volume and crusher bass level settings, you can get nearly equal amounts of bass. Except the ANC 2 haptics feel tighter and less muddy than the Evos which I prefer, while also having noticeably better mids and highs. The Evo's treble is too harsh, like piercing my ears harsh.
If all you care about is the sheer quantity of bass without regard for anything else, then the Evos are a good pair for you.

Yes the treble on the evos is too much and i use an eq to tame it.

I wish I could EQ them via their app because I also tried to use them with my PS5 but certain frequent sounds (namely menu chirps in cyberpunk) were piercing my ears so I had to return them.
