I'm so close to getting a third set. Great deal on a phenomenal product.
We bought expansions mostly for squats and bench.
It is great work, no need to buy these dumb bells and you save money too on free vegetables!
Am I smart or not?
That require normal weight training with heavy weights. Do both!
These are also great to keep you ready in the off season. So when summer hits you can launch kids into the deep end at will!
3...2...1... Blast off!
However, these are contoured handles and the Elites are not if that makes a difference to you.
They are available at $220 a lot though.
They should be better as the bowlfex is mainly plastic. That's why I've had my eye on them for awhile.

And if you consider how sturdy these dumbbells are with the weight increment, the only issue is that it skips a 2.5 increment every 15 lbs

Fortunately it's just shortened. When I clicked on using my desktop it went to the thread. You can search for "diy platemate alternative for microloading".
I only wanted to show that there are workarounds for that 2.5 lb gap that makes this deal >100$ cheaper than competitors for maybe 20 bucks of parts
I sold my bowflex 552s that I owned for 13 years to get these. If you need more than 50 lbs, then you can't beat these for the price. The only downside is you can't fit two hands on a single handle, and you can't easily grab the outside of a dumbbell to do something like a goblet squat. Pros definitely outweigh the cons.
Can anyone weigh in (pun intended) on how these feel? I've never had adjustable dumbbells or used Power Blocks for that matter, but I'm concerned about the cage design. It feels like it would restrict movements I would like to do with them compared to the Peppins. Goblet squat, tricep extensions behind the head just to new a couple.

To be clear, the 80lb weight fell off and hit the stand.
