Agreed!!! Selling on social media is a nightmare. People are awful with the lowball offers...it's worth than the real flea market.

For people that buy their games slick and physical, you can actually come out ahead with GS on these deals. I did it the last time they ran this promo a month or two back. I had some games that I actually got 2x or close to 2x what I paid in store credit. All said and done, I came out about even but got to enjoy the games and now have a nice trade credit towards the PS5 Pro or Switch 2. I don't care for GS policies and how they treat their employees but I dread the digital transition so I've been giving GS a bit more business lately.

Agreed, it's better to offload these physical games I'm no longer playing to give it life to another player. I hate this digital future so XBOX is dead for me. Let's hope Sony/Nintendo is planning to stay physical for next gen.

Don't mean to hijack this thread but is GS is the best place to trade in your PS4?

Have the Darth Vader PS4 with some games I no longer use. Don't have FB so marketplace won't work. Other option is ebay but I'm just tired of f'n scammers.

Thoughts?

you don't even have to reply to low ballers. you can park on ebay / amazon and kick back until offer or sold. if you truly believe it is hard, that is why it is hard; it's only hard in your mind. You need to unlearn, that which you have learned. Don't give great emotional importance and attraction/aversion to minor things that don't warrant it.

I live in Central California and is the same here. Lots of PS5/XBSX posted for $300 but they only sell once they are lowered to $250. I've gotten a PS5 slim disc for $250 and a digital PS5 for $220 which included 2 controllers, pulse headset, and charging station. Money is right out here. People aren't paying $350+ for a console they can buy new for $100 more.

Check out there trade in value for controllers. They're giving $33 for PS4 controllers. $27 if it has stick drift. I bought 4 of them for $20 in offerup, went to GameStop, and got $110+ traded in credit towards the PS5 pro😎. Colored PS5 controllers get $45 but white ones only $35.

Coincidentally, I shelved my black ps5 controller last night over stick drift 😄 That idea you had was clever. Doubt I can manage that because I'm in a rural area but congrats 👏
