Personally I think DL1 was way better. However, for $13 and a free PS5 upgrade, this game is good at that price
Personally I didn't enjoy this one nearly as much as the first. I never even finished it. It's less of a question of if it's worth the money vs if it's worth your time. At least if you're trying to balance your adult life.

I thought this game was poop. It's ugly and just didn't feel as fun as the original. Same goes for Dead Island 2 (minus the ugly part). These games had their time and that time is long gone.
What are the chances of selling these back to GameStop for $16.25 store credit?
I thought the same...I was pretty let down by DL2. With that said though, it has had a ton of updates and I haven't played in probably at least a year and half. Updates aren't going to change the drab coloring but I've heard that guns were added in and much more. This is a pretty darn good price for anyone out there thinking to buy...I traded my copy in yesterday to GameStop for like $17 or so.
Oops...meant to reply to Shake N Bake but as far as your question, yes, you could do so if you get them in time and the value hasnt changed. I wouldn't buy a bunch with that intention...last time they ran that promotion, they didn't accept DL2 but did this time.
No where near as fun as the DL1. Not sure if it was updated but just purchase at game stop and return within 7 days to get something else. I promise this game will leave you disappointed. Especially if you loved the original.
For people who is too lazy to research, the general consensus on this game is
1. Dying Light 2 has worse writing or story telling.
2. Dying Light 1 is better overall and more fun
2. Dead Island 2 (after updates it received) is much better in comparison

These games have some of the best co op mechanics. I haven't played 2 in a while.. got it at launch and the bugs were ridiculous and sometimes hilarious.
