Be careful with Hisense and buying their premium sets. I and many others got burned badly when their sets started dying en masse about 2 years after purchase. Well documented and yet Hisense did nothing for customers thst purchased these $1000+ TVs. Stick to the sun $400 and you won't be as pissed when it dies.
Yes I obviously had a horrible experience with them. Take what you will.
I paid about 800 for mine almost 2 years ago. and I do not regret it... it looks like an oled but it's not.
Colors and all really pop, and I love that it has a subwoofer-built in.
Worth mentioning, this is the new N series that just came out. U8N, U7N, etc

Not a ton of reviews out yet but the ones I've seen have been quite positive, I'll be monitoring this tv along with the just announced U9N from Hisense. Good deal for a 2024 75'' premium mini led tv! Great find!
I'm now stuck wondering what TV to buy again. Haha. I was going to go 85", but honestly I'm going to save some money and go 75". I'm about 12ft away, but I've been that far from 75" in person and think it will be fine.
But yeah, not sure about the 75" U8N or U7N or to save more and go U8K/U7K

85 is a rather large upgrade from that viewing distance.

Noted, I'm comfortable repairing replacing the board.. Done it before on another tv.. Granted what I won't do is LEDs.. I did get a extended warranty though just in case. I was going to buy a Samsung but those released in 2020-22 ish as far as I know they had a very common issue that wasn't fixable unless you taped off a pin on the tcon connector.

Is repairing the LEDs hard? I have a bedroom tv that looks like it has a tiny area where the LEDs failed. Was gonna repair it myself but haven't touched it since we rarely use that thing.

You'll never regret going with the bigger TV.
Unless it doesn't fit in your wall lol.
