If I opened the app and searched for the watch it won't give you the discount. Before taxes it came out to 169.99.

Little confused on this process. I downloaded the OnePlus app, created an account, then went to Slickdeals mobile app, found this deal and clicked the link. Several times it took me to the web browser and not the OnePlus app but eventually took me to the app correctly and I could see a $50 discount in app. (Might need to edit the default links for the OnePlus app).
Also, don't make my mistake, make sure that you:
1) Do not select the Student discount, it's checked by default
2) Make sure the "app discount" of $50 is checked
3) Select "trade in any device any condition" - this is where I made my mistake. I think it actually says "trade in any smartwatch in any condition" and so that threw me off and I accidentally (ie stupidly) selected "trade in eligible device" which is NOT what you want. If it asks you for an IMEI code then turn back!
Anyway, my mistake. Was able to cancel and make a new order. Final total was $182.70. Also, cancelling and trying again did not "use up" the initial $50 discount in case anyone makes the same mistake.
I thought smartwatches were pretty stupid until I found this feature. Its changed my life.

Just to be clear. Am I supposed to select "trade-in ANY device, ANY condition" over""Trade in eligible device". And unselect "Get guaranteed $50 OFF when you trade in ANY watch in ANY condition.

The only exception is if you wear it to sleep for sleep tracking. But that's all BS data anyways.
I never understood the obsession people have with their smartwatch battery life. All you need is about 24 hours (really only 18 hours).
I was able to go directly into the oneplus app and purchase it without having to open the noteplus app from slickdeals.
