Sorry my friend you have to take it all. Chairs, lobster tanks and ice makers altogether.

"These auctions are winner takes all – meaning, each winner will receive the entire contents of the Red Lobster location they bid on," TAGeX Brands said.

Commercial is is clear and more dense, which melts slower. The cloudy ice in home fridges has tiny air bubbles making then appear cloudy and they melt very fast. For the price it's tempting, but I really don't know the longevity of this unit. Hate to toss it in the landfill if it only last a few seasons. So no one here has experience with this?

Does anyone know if a SMALLER countertop device that keeps making ice exists? Most countertop machines have the ice melt when it isn't used within the time window. I want ice on demand at all times but don't want to repair the ice maker in our fridge.

Anyone know of anything or have suggestions?? 🫡🫡🤔
Just fix the one in your fridge.

dude. my work just spent 2 mil on office remodel and a hoshizaki ice maker was put in.

what a piece of shit. it's a counter top unit and i is SO inconsistent, every person misses 1-all ice cubes from their tumbler. goes straight on the floor.

sure, madr in japan and all. but did you know Japans economy had never progressed since he 80'ies?

hoshizaki is trash.
never seen a unit this size for this price.
My unit is a little smaller but I'll charge less. Want to see?

What's the auction site?

Does this ice maker keep the ice cold?

Cheaper than 3 countertop ice makers, and makes 21 pounds per day more ice. More convenient to use as well.

You could bypass the infrared sensor that tells it that the ice basket is full, but I wouldn't recommend it. Unless you are constantly using the ice, it would back up and cause the rotating bit, that holds the water while freezing then rotates to drop the ice, to break. The part that interfaces that to the stepper motor is rather fragile.

List of red lobsters that are closing … at least if they're local then the auction is more accessible

I sort of the get the idea more here though, like a bike is pretty practical and you can get a lot of value from an affordable one. Why does anyone really need a commercial ice maker? If you do, maybe you should look to get a legit one?

Clear ice comes from reverse osmosis water or water with very low total dissolved solids.

Source: I installed a RO for my refrigerator ice maker and ice went from cloudy to clear.
I actually have a smaller version of this - and it does put out clear-ish ice. This one, it was hard to tell, one of the images on Amazon reviews showed white like snow ice. But they also mentioned something about water pressure. Maybe it was that one person.

Correct… cloudiness comes from impurities in the water that allows crystals adhere to and from stars and cloudiness. Haven't tried to make a ice ball from a super clean (zero impurities) ice mold with distilled water from the store , might be super clear but even then you'd need to rinse the mold with distilled water to get most impurities out . Even one dust particles in the water will allow crystals to form from it
