30 year old movie that everyone has seen at least once that's been on every streaming platform before, very awesome Xfinity!! This surely makes up for increasing my bill $5 a month for no reason last month

Just an FYI, in the past they have charged for the movie price + tax
Then they credit your bill for the movie price but NOT the tax.
So it's not really free, it costs about $1 depending on your tax rate.
I assume they are still doing this but will happily pick it up if someone can confirm they no longer keep the tax...
For folks who end up with jacks up bill, switch to wireless Internet service through Verizon/T-Mobile (yes they have wireless Internet). The wireless is kind of slow and has higher ping but you only need to keep it for 3 months. After that get back to Xfinity as a customer. Viola. You're a new customer therefore back to a new promotional plan.

Think about the all movies that have come out so far this year , almost halfway through the 2024 . There was nothing I would want to rewatch.
These are just Some of the movies theatergoers had to choose from in 1994 : Forrest Gump, The Lion King, True Lies, The Santa Claus, Clear and Present Danger, Speed, The Mask, Mrs Doubtfire, Interview w/ vampire, Maverick, Schindler's List, The Client, Philadelphia, Ace Ventura, Wolf, Pulp Fiction, Stargate, Star Trek, Pulp Fiction, Dumb & Dumber, 4 Weddings and Funeral, The Naked Gun, The Crow, The Pelican Brief, Natural Born Killers, TimeCop, Disclosure, City Slickers, Beverly Hills Cop 2, Tombstone, Wyatt Earp, Jungle Book , The Professional , Shawshank Redemption .
What happened to the movie industry? Nobody is going to want to see The Fall Guy or Challengers 30 years from now.
