saw a post on fb where someone got this planer for $329. decided to go check it out as I need one badly and was looking last night and seeing most cost near $600. anyways, it was $329 for me and only one left. so hurry if you need one.

These are definitely still around. I just had a local Lowe's with one 2 for 449, not the great $329 price.

Brickseek said there were none in stock and the store associate confirmed its clearanced.

Yeah, I went back into the store I got mine from, and now the newer model is already inn it's place. So hopefully some more people can find some before they are gone at a great price.

FYI, in case you're referring to the DeWalt 735, that is newer but is still plenty old (and good). They've kept their planers around for a long time. Here's a review from 2007 on the 735.

I believe the X in 735X just means it also comes with the in- and out-feed plates.
