1. Dual zones is nicer than I anticipated. It's nice to be able to keep some stuff frozen, particularly for longer trips. And you can still use the entire thing for refrigerator or freezer if needed. It doesn't look like this has that feature.
2. It's more space than I expected. On paper the 48qt. is smaller than our 55/60qt coolers, but because you're not wasting space with ice it's actually more room overall. It's also nice not having things get soaked by melting ice.
3. I don't see that this one can use a built in battery. I spent about $100 to get the integrated battery for our Newaire, and it's saved our bacon multiple times. While we generally have the cooler attached to a power station/solar, sometimes it comes unplugged or it's not convenient to have plugged in or we took the power station somewhere to charge in prolonged bad weather. The built in battery also has enough capacity to run the cooler overnight (at least in non-horrendously hot weather--we'll see for hotter weather) allowing us to use our power station in the tent at night when we want to.
4. The built in wheels and extendable handle on the Newaire are nice, but we still most often just carry it around away from home (same with other coolers) because wheels and nature frequently don't mix well.
Overall we're really happy we got it.
So nice to not bother with ice.

Inital differences between the two - this is almost 2x the capacity and gets slight colder. No solar panel power ports.
Longevity (e.g compressor) would be good to understand.

I also tested it out in my truck and on a hot Houston summer day, it'll go only 84. They sent me a replacement and did the same. The issue is the lid on the top doesn't have any seal so air just leaks/seeps in and out. I wouldn't go with a BougeRV fridge ever again though their customer service is outstanding!
