could say the same about whats the point of being a chargers fan.
They are great in small bedrooms, we have a similar size fan in our kids room witjout the RGB stuff but it was under $80.
I'm in the Bay Area, like many other places it rarely gets warm enough to need a full size fan or any fan at all. Plus it's very easy to restrict a fan's performance if it's in too small of a room for its size. Location location location
