so can you order with freedompop number.. once you get the phone use a diff number for actual porting?
Update on my earlier reply: I ordered a Total iPhone11 a few days ago and used a FP GSMT number to qualify. The phone was delivered today and I activated it with a Metro phone number (expired today but I got a 72-hr extension). Ported in and activated just fine.

I had this phone for about 5 months. The battery sucks, the SOT was about 4 hours on a full charge, and AccuBattery estimated it even lower. The phone heated a lot. Both issues should be caused by Samsung's in house 1380 chipset (fabricated by Samsung as well). I had a OnePlus Nord 20 at the same price range that lasted about 11- 12 hours SOT on a full charge without heating issues.

The camera is good but not splendid. The screen looks good but has lagged touch register/none-register issue. Overall this phone is buggy and not worth the MSRP of $699. $100 seems like a fair price if you don't have other choice.
I have a n20 from metro and can confirm it has exceptional battery life. To be expected with the power efficient 695 5g and a 4500mah and 60hz refresh rate. Wouldn't buy one now since it's stuck on android 12 but still great for a basic user

I have two A54 from metro deal working flawlessly on Visible network. One flashed with stock Samsung firmware and another still on metro firmware. Both received One UI 6.1 update on May 14th. Zero leg (not a gamer).
I just updated one to 6.1 and you're right -- lag is not noticeable. Time to do a bunch of updates!

Thanks!

Hey hpam, are you done doing those metro phone deals since they changed it to 12 months? Also wondering if it's 12 months of actual service now or the same first month only thing from before

It's hard to know that isn't it? After all, the same lag comments come out about any A-class phone, though usually only by those who know what something faster feels like. It's hard to believe that the A54, but not the A53, A35, A52, etc has a unique problem.
And so someone mentioned that UI 6.1 update on the A54 fixes the lag. I just tried it on one A54 and it's normal now! So it does appear to have been a bug in the previous UI version for the A54, just like I said.

This is a midrange and not low end phone. It should be able to run android without issue - if it doesn't, that's the fault of OneUI.

It has better performance benchmarks and specs than my pixel 5a, which has no problem with a debloated android 14.

Not a disposable BLU or a15, but not a flagship either. It's meant to compete with the pixel a series.
I bought mid range moto an its practically trash compared to my collection of past samsungs. The low end moto I bought is worse than dollar phones. An everyone said this stuff was so great. So I'm worried about trying the low end samsungs but Its either that or a real Samsung since LG quit an i cant use tcl to do 3 things I need.

No more Metro phones for me. The 1-yr wait and increased plan costs are the final nails on the "Metro Deal" coffin. Before that, they only put on the coffin lid by blocking my orders. I don't see anything in the new terms about requiring active service for the entire 12 months.

Can we add a line to 2 iPhone 11 phones we got from FP earlier? Or is it 2 phones per account?

Did the iphone promo have the id verification requirement? They probably limit you to two promo phones per id.

They won't miss you. Customers like you are WHY they changed their policy.
