I don't know most of these games, but Monster Train is fantastic. That said, not including the Last Divinity DLC for Monster Train in the bundle makes this deal a toss-up for me. The DLC changes the base game quite significantly and adds diversity of playthroughs and replayability once you've played through the base game enough times to master it. I say it's a toss-up because DLC currently sells separately for $12 on Steam, which seems pretty steep given what it adds to the base game.

Does anyone know how the SSI Classics Collection games play on a modern PC? These are the 17 games:

CyClones
Dark Legions
Fantasy General
Great Naval Battles: The Final Fury
Necrodome
Pacific General
Phantasie Memorial Set
Prophecy of the Shadow
Renegade: Battle for Jacob's Star
Star Command
Star General
The Summoning
Veil of Darkness
Wargame Construction Set
Wargame Construction Set II: Tanks!
Wargame Construction Set III: Age of Rifles 1846-1905
War Wind II: Human Onslaught

Mmm... I got bored of Monster Train after beating it a few times with each faction/combo. Is the DLC worth it? Looks like the lowest price on steam is $4, so I guess the question is, is it worth $4?

Just use gg.deals instead as your search engine - https://gg.deals/dlc/monster-trai...-divinity/

Cheaper elsewhere and all keyshops listed are "legit" in the sense that it's not outright a scam.

Might pick up Monster Train since I got bored of the base game and never did hop into the DLC even though I own it from Humble.

War wind 2 and The Summoning were pretty fun from SSI. War wind is an RTS and The Summoning is an RPG with free movement, but not really an action RPG like Diablo.

I have played few games in here without problem ( Phatasie 1 and 3) . All of the games are available at GOG website also. You can google the game you want to play and see the review. I see no problem play DOS-game in 2024.

Hard to say specifically for you without knowing what you got bored of. The DLC adds one new clan and one new final boss. But I think the biggest change gameplay wise is the addition of Pact Shards which is a mandatory risk-reward system for accessing the final boss, and infusions, which all you to create "custom" monsters by infusing one monster's essence into another to create some big synergies.

I appreciate you putting me onto GG.deals!! I usually use Cheapshark.com or isthereanydeal.com - this is a "game changer"
