SVS prices are kind of a joke post-COVID. Only a few outlet items here are "steals" imo and most are sold out. Pretty meh deal.
There's plenty of competitors building quality products at a lower price (PSA, RSL, etc.). Even the constant Klipsch sales on the rp1400sw and rp1600sw are better deals than this.
SVS has always had quality products and amazing customer service. They used to also have great value, but they now price themselves as a luxury product. They deserve to capitalize on the brand name they've built; I'm just pointing out that the days of their prices being "slick" appear to be behind us.
Agreed. Sale prices are just normal prices not that long ago. I think all the !!!! on everything is a bit overstated. I still like their subs, but they are not the bargain they once were.

If the PB-1000 comes back for $350, it is a real bargain. Two of these in an 11' x 19' theater room with treatments and tuning work really well for me.

got an ultra center (rear corner damage) for $550, pretty happy with that!
Yes, that is an excellent price! I want to buy the PB-1000 Pro for the living room but yesterday, I got the speech, "STOP BUYING ELECTRONICS!!" I just upgraded my computer and the boss is still upset at what I paid. Saying it's on sale, on Slick, doesn't work anymore...
I was hoping that the ultra towers would be priced under the original MSRP of $999.99 since they are discontinued. Unfortunately, SVS is selling the ultra for $999.99 which is a discount from the last price hike of $1,299.99. Looks like $999.99 will be the final close out price for the ultra tower.

I totally agree with you about the prices of so many things today. But, on the other hand, I would rather pay more for quality like SVS subs and speakers than seeing SVS start making their subs cheaper to lower the price.
