The flow and pressure sensors are really good and have caught a lot of small leaks like running toilets and faucets that are cracked open. I have a tiny leak im currently trying to trace down but so fare can't figure it out. The leak test passes if I block in the kitchen sink but fails if I unblock it. I can't see a thing so it's definitely a micro leak probably slowly filling up the fixture. Kind of impressive.
Keep in mind that smaller flows will take more time to trigger a shutoff. My running toilet took 20 or so min to trigger. A completely busted pipe should trigger very fast.
Also, does this work on CPVC?

It has for me, but it reports it as a very small leak, doesn't automatically shut off your water or anything like that. If every single time it ran the test it reported a leak, then I would investigate further, but it's only if the RO tank was refilling when it did the test that it would notice it.
