Samsung has for Samsung EPP/EDU: 22 cu. ft. Samsung Smart 3-Door French Door Refrigerator (Stainless) (RF22A4121SR) on sale for $899.40. Shipping is free.
Bought 4 Samsung fridges over the past 10 years. Always compressor issues... Never again even if it's a good deal, the compressor + labor costs will be more expensive in the long run.
Every fridge you've purchased has a 5 year sealed system warranty, a free fix. The person repairing your fridge isn't doing it right.
No. Samsung refrigerators are notorious for leaking water into the crisper drawer. This happens when the heat element in the main cavity (part of defrost cycle) freezes over and the ice blocks the drain hole. Then, the water has no place to go other than leak into the crisper drawer in the bottom.
Can confirm. Only happened to me once though. I defrosted the drain tube and it was good ever since after adjusting the temps
Like I said, every manufacturer has issues. I see and fix them everyday. id much rather have that first world problem than a sealed system fail in the first few months of use. I replied directly to your comment about the ice behind the evap cover, which is directly associated with the drain. Samsung is the only company that replaces the ice maker under warranty regardless of age. That's over 800 in parts and labor to do out of pocket. Find another company that will do anything even close to that. I'll wait.
I had the ice maker replaced 4 times and I also had the fan in the back panel keep freezing. Fridge would not keep temp but of course on the panel it would report the temp I set it to. After 2 years multiple service calls. Luckily I had extended warranty from a decent retailer and eventually after 5 years got a new fridge. They replace it for free for a reason. There are lawsuits and there are people that are going through local legal channels to get refunds.

Whoever serviced your fridge didn't do it right. Sorry for that. The icemaker service kit has almost everything to fix it, one other part needs orderer, and unless they're a brand engineer they wouldn't know, so a random appliance store doing it will not do it right.
Also love that the guy hating on Samsung is going through and down voting every comment I make. Someone is really mad! 😂😂
Did you call Samsung for free warranty work that's offered for 5 years like every other manufacturer?
The screen died, so I couldn't control anything and screens aren't covered. Also, after its 3rd ice maker replacement i just left it frozen solid because it wasn't worth dealing with their horrible design.

But at least that one cooled.
The family hub absolutely is covered, as well as the touch panel that adjusts temp and has the buttons to change from water to ice on the dispenser door.
PSA: spoke to a lot of people before buying my fridge including repair folks. The universal recommendation is to go for a USA brand if you want reliability. The Korean brands tend to have a lot of quality issues. Just my two cents.
Kitchen appliances are a unique purchase. Don't treat them like electronic purchases. Do your research and get exactly what you need.

You got about 2 years left at the most. Hopefully I'm wrong.
