I have an Android. With CVS especially, I tend to wait to update because of all the issues lately. You usually do not have to do it immediately. When you open the app, it's going to mention the update every time but that does not stop you from using it.

Sorry it didn't work. A way someone had found to make it work on an iphone was shared with me and it didn't work. Maybe the update will make it better? I guess we'll see.

Any favorite ways to use the 20% pickup coupon? Can I combine with the spend $30? Thinking of gathering some snacks for end of year parties.

Not sure how things work for pick-up ... Nivea BW? it's spend20/10ecb and there's a couple of ibotta's. Would 20% come off after all others discounts (like in-store) or would 20% come off at the top?

My adventures with the app this week has tested my patience with CVS
I've tried deleting the app & putting it back on the phone, but then I can never tell what card-info will pop up on the screen. It seems like the info is lagging for me, but then IF I find a 'good' phone - my transactions are perfect.

I just redeemed for a $5 PG GC - and ugh, instead of a $5 GC at a retailer, it's a $5 off next PG item at certain retailers (CVS being an option; Target is not an option). I think I'll get some Charmin with the $5 PG. My recommendaton for June - just scan receipts and maybe in July, it'll go back to a regular retailer GC.

I bought three CoverGirl lipstick that were 50% off for a total of $10.13 (before tax). Applied $10 extracare member eb. Didn't get the $10 eb. Is returning my only option (didn't really needed the lipstick but just bought it thinking they will be free after $10 eb)?

You're not going to get the $10/3 EB. Nobody will issue it. It's a well known policy by CVS employees. I just had this discussion with a CVS manager, who is also a couponer, discussing what some customers ask for and get mad at when they are told no.

Thanks for replying. I didn't even discuss it with the cashier. I did the whole transaction because I saw some people got $10 eb doing it in this thread and it also showed eligible for $10 eb when I placed the order.

Did you buy the lipsticks in store or online? If you bought them online for store pickup, you should get the EB. Read a couple posts above yours. Also, I just added 3 clearance items to my cart and it shows that I qualify for the $10 EB. However, if you buy them in store, they do not qualify. HTH!

Here's a weird question. If the cashier rang up the clesrance item as a price match to the online price rather than the in-store 50% off price, would it count for the ecb's?

I ordered 3 x clearance covergirl foundation online for another card and picked up at my store today. I got $10 ECB just fine. This works only when you order online for store pickup though.
ECB usually doesn't show on your app immediately. It took over 2 hours after store pickup for ECB to appear in my accounts last 3 times when I did online order followed by store pickup.

If you used digital coupons, you'll lose them when you do the return so you'll have to buy the new item(s) without coupons unless you have mq's and/or ip's. You may or may not get the $10 ecb's back that you paid with when you do the refund. If you don't, you should ask the cashier for a manual print of the $10. All is not lost. You will still have tracking for the 2 items that counted for the deal. You'll just need to buy one more non-clearance item to get the $10. If you want to pay less, you can buy a cheap clearance item like the $3.64 liquid foundation online as an in-store pick-up and you'll get your $10 ecb's (according to what is being reported). CVS shouldn't have the Covergirl clearance work online but not in-store. It's not fair to customers who research the deal online and expect to have it work in-store especially when CVS will allow it to work as an in-store pick-up.
