BK's food is less disgusting when it is free

The game is counter intuitive. You need to be a second late at what appears to be maximum in order to get the maximum power. i.e. when arrow reaches maximum length and begins to retract, that's when you get the power.

They're giving away points because now they expire
:-( Any idea how long the points last now? Is there a list somewhere of what fast food places let you keep the points you earn forever?

$3-4. It's enough to redeem for a double cheeseburger.

And that trick is?
Create separate BK accounts for [email protected] and [email protected]. Both will go to the same gmail inbox.

From their FAQ:

Yes, Crowns do expire and can be tracked on the Royal Perks details page at bk.com/rewards/history or on the BK® App. Crowns will expire on the first day of the month after the sixth month from the day your Crowns were earned. For example, if you earn 50 Crowns on January 5, 2024, and 50 Crowns on January 28, 2024, those 100 Crowns will expire on August 1, 2024, to the extent those Crowns are not redeemed before August 1, 2024.
My understanding is these crowns will expire December 1 if you do get them now. If you get them during June they'll expire on January 1.

t's weird because Popeye's is owned by the same parent company, but their points don't expire as long as you make a purchase every six months. I hope they don't change to the BK system..

I don't get the strategy of fast food apps having these in-app mobile games for essentially free food (McDonalds was doing this too just recently).

Seems like it would be a lot of hassle to program into the app and what's the upside vs just giving it out as an equivalent coupon or something? Doesn't make any sense to me.
I'm not going to say I get it but the cost of contracting a company to make a awful mini game is pennies to mcdonalds and burger king compared to the rest of the money they put on the line for this promotion. Maybe it's an easier pill to get someone to download the app to play the game so they finally download it. It takes more of your time so they are technically advertising to you more. They might actually be able to save money if someone doesn't want to play the mini game so they got people to volunteerly advertise the promotion without having to give out crowns. Maybe someone will actually check out the promotion to play the mini game.

I don't even know if they need to pay a contracting fee, that sounds like a lot of money (by a lot I mean more than a couple hundred dollars), they can probably get one of their web developers to kick a crappy minigame out of the door within a single business day. I'm ignorant on how hard or simple a game like this would feels like it's incredibly straight forward, especially with taking free templates people put online.

Works with apple iphone email relay. So basically you could have endless accounts. I may go there once in a blue moon but for anyone on a student or shoestring budget.

Meh. It's just basically advertising and if you play a game for 5 minutes it's a lot longer than most people pay attention to a commercial. So, basically more effective than most marketing. It's not supposed to be a challenge just keeping your eyes on their product for more than 15 seconds. You know what a 30 second commercial costs on national or cable television? You could probably build a thousand of these small games.

I would think the mobile games are for the kids. Trying to get them excited about the Brand. Burger King gives away points often enough that I check their app every week. I won a free whopper with their Cloud Game. It wasn't bad.

Their fries are good. Not a fan of their onion rings at all. Their Croissant Sandwiches haven't changed much since the 80s and they are reasonably priced. Tried their new chicken sandwich free with points and enjoyed that.
