Milwaukee has a deal where you buy the (48-11-1852) Two pack of 5Ah batteries and get a free tool.
These are $199 at Home Depot and other retailers.
This deal is hackable at Home Depot as you purchase the batteries as one item and get to pick one of seven tools for free as a 2nd separate item.
When you put both the batteries & selected bare tool in your cart the total should adjust to $199 plus tax at checkout.
M18 Lithium-Ion XC 5.0 Ah Battery Pack (2-Pack)
-
Battery bundle info from Milwaukee [milwaukeetool.com]
- $199
Battery two pack from Home Depot [homedepot.com]
These are NOT Max Output
XC= Extended Capacity
Just how they label all their 3Ah to 8Ah batteries
below 3Ah labeled CP (Compact)
above 8Ah labeled HD (High Density)
Seven possible free tools from Home Depot Deals
The first two as Fuel brushless tools obviously stand out .
1) M18 FUEL 1/4" Hex Impact Driver (2953)
-
Tool info from Milwaukee [milwaukeetool.com]
-
Bare tool from Home Depot [homedepot.com]
Bare tool market price: Runs ~$149 at Authorized Retailers
Deal quality: Great
------------------------
2) M18 FUEL Brushless HACKZALL Reciprocating Saw (2719)
-
Tool info from Milwaukee [milwaukeetool.com]
-
Bare tool from Home Depot [homedepot.com]
Bare tool market price: Runs ~$169 at Authorized Retailers
Deal quality: Great
------------------------
3) M18 Oscillating Multi-Tool (2626)
-
Tool info from Milwaukee [milwaukeetool.com]
-
Bare tool from Home Depot [homedepot.com]
Bare tool market price: Can be found for as low as $89 at Authorized Retailers or $99 in kit w/ battery & charger
Deal quality: OK
Keep in mind this older M18 Oscillating Multi-Tool (2626) has been replaced by a Fuel brushless (2836).
Good news is you can buy that M18 FUEL Oscillating Multi-Tool (2836)
w/ M18 Lithium-Ion XC Extended Capacity 5.0 Ah Battery Pack (2-Pack)
From Grainger for $217 [grainger.com]
(Item listing now shows model 2626 rather than 2836. Deal was listing error.)
------------------------
4) M18 Random Orbital Sander (2648)
-
Tool Info from Milwaukee [milwaukeetool.com]
-
Bare Tool from Home Depot [homedepot.com]
Bare tool market price: Runs ~$129 at Authorized Retailers
Deal quality: Garbage
While there is not yet a Fuel brushless sander to replace the M18 Random Orbital Sander (2648) I would
NOT recommend this sander at all it's pretty bad all around and prone to failure. You are much better off with the $60 Bosch ROS20 if you can get away w/ corded or pretty much any brand other than Milwaukee if you insist on cordless.
------------------------
5) M18 2-Gallon Wet/Dry Vacuum (0880)
-
Tool Info from Milwaukee [milwaukeetool.com]
-
Bare Tool from Home Depot [homedepot.com]
Bare tool market price: Can be found for as low as $129 at Authorized Retailers
Deal quality: Good
Yes there is a newer model.
M18 2.5gal Fuel brushless vacuum (0970) [milwaukeetool.com]
It is more powerful, quieter, Packout compatible, has longer runtime & blows the older M18 Gen 2 away. It however sells by itself for $199 from all the Milwaukee Authorized Retailers. If you are not going to invest in Packout the older vac still a very useful tool that gets the job done.
------------------------
6) M18 SAWZALL Reciprocating Saw (2621)
-
Tool Info from Milwaukee [milwaukeetool.com]
-
Bare Tool from Home Depot [homedepot.com]
Bare tool market price: Can be found for $as low as $99 at Authorized Retailers
Deal quality: Good
There are two newer generations that are Fuel Brushless
M18 FUEL SAWZALL Reciprocating Saw ~$199 (2720) or ~$259 (2721) w/ ONE-KEY
M18 FUEL SUPER SAWZALL ~$249 (2722)
M18 FUEL SAWZALL Recip Saw ~$199 (2821) or ~$259 (2822) w/ ONE-KEY
Regardless this is still a good deal for a perfectly functional tool. Just have to decide if your use case justifies the more expensive brushless that gets better run time.
------------------------
7) M18 Dual Bay Simultaneous Rapid Charger (48-59-1802)
-
Charger Info from Milwaukee [milwaukeetool.com]
-
Charger from Home Depot [homedepot.com]
Bare tool market price: Runs ~$129 at Authorized Retailers but also comes included in kits for dual battery 36v tools.
Deal quality: Poor
Milwaukee chargers come at three different charging rates
Regular charger charges @ 3Amp
Rapid charger @ 6Amp
Super charger @ 13.5Amp
This dual bay M18 Rapid is not faster than M18/M12 Combo Rapid Charger that comes in most kits, Personally I charge my batteries in a cool place at the slowest rate to keep them healthier longer.
------------------------
------------------------
These last three deals there are each a single SKU that you buy where you get the tools and the two batteries (again no charger is included.)
These duplicate versions of the above deals are NOT hackable since they are not separate purchases.
All three of these tools can be purchased for the same price in the potentially hackable deal above.
Just pointing out the difference.

At least until that is done with. The price on those is pretty amazing.
But I do love my m12 beater tools I leave outside regularly
I was all in on Milwaukee till HD super clearance opened the door.. still a ryobi bro at heart tho, and even have Hart tools š

Ridgid has Lifetime Service Agreement for tools registered within 90 day of purchase from an Authorized Retailer.
If you asked Milwaukee or DeWalt the answer would be no.
But there are adapters made by third parties.
Such an adapter could allow you the use a Milwaukee Battery with a DeWalt tool.
The quality & reliability of the adapters is not great. You are likely better off just accepting two or more battery ecosystem rather than wasting time trying to find a quality adapter and bypassing the chips in the battery that communicate to the tool for the safety and performance of both.
Slick deals changes the links we post. While I initially posted direct links Slick Deals replaces them with tracking & referral links. That is how they make their money.
If your are failing to resolve a link it is likely you are being "protected" by a tracking protection system.

Most items bought with a Home Depot Consumer or Pro Xtra Credit Card can be returned within 365 days.
Admitting "I found a better deal" or pretty much any other reason is good enough to return a slightly used tool that will get marked down for someone else to appreciate. In the case of power tools don't "be nice" by swapping them & returning the new tool, keeping the used one. It will cause issues with the serial numbers and warranties for you and the other customer.
