My point stands and that is my intended meaning. To my knowledge, they still can't handle real mower work like a gas engine, if they bog down..they just stop all together (like if you have to cut a mixed lawn that got too high that isn't perfect in my experience). The battery is what ultimately runs it so if it's not up to the task, the mower is landfill trash...albeit very expensive landfill trash.

This was an unexpected deal when going to Lowes for other things yesterday. I'll be net $275 after I sell the pole saw attachment. I'll end up with the multi-tool, hedge trimmer attachment, 5A Battery and charger.

For $349, picked up the multi-tool with pole saw attachment (+ battery & charger) and the hedge trimmer for $349. I will hopefully sell the pole saw attachment because I already have the telescoping pole saw.

I needed the hedge trimmer so purchased the hedge trimmer,edger and 2.5 battery. On the receipt each item was given part of the 200 discount. Returned the battery and edger the next day and the hedge trimmer was 108 pre tax

too bad, not many ego deals lately. I was just going to chime in about my $39 new string head/Spool from amazon.. my bump head finally wore out from several hard years... chunk flew off thin bottom. Good news I had a backup ego and there is a new and improved head out there. I have the old Rapid Reload (hand wind) 1500SF that you have to line up the holes, new one doesn't need that.
