Good price and a little cheaper than what it costs to build. Too bad it's not an X chip, though Ti is 1440p champ.

Edit: Just bought it and needed to sign up with Lenovo account to get the $50

this is much better value for anyone spending over 1k on any system

most deals have posted 4060ti and this is 16gb ram with high tier gpu performance class close to 7900xt

this can be close to a suitable 4k desktop if you upgrade the chassis and have more fans in it to keep up but one of the better value ones that are prebuilt and higher perf

I bought this system over a month ago on a previous deal. I am using it now to type this comment. So far, its great for browsing and commenting on SlickDeals.

lol, jk. I came well packaged and worked right away after being plugged in. It had minimal bloatware that seemed easy to uninstall. And I have had a blast playing Hell Divers 2 on it. The deal now seems comparable (I paid ~1435$ before tax), to the deal I got.

Any thoughts about the air-cooling on the Lenovo desksides versus the liquid cooling on the Alienware desksides?. I have an old Alienware air-cooled deskside I am currently using and when those fans kick in it makes quite a bit of noise.

$1520 - $50 sign up email discount - 5% student discount - 10% cash back =
$1256.85 before tax
$1372.06 after tax
Delivery is 7/29-7/31

Price is good but I might be moving places so maybe a gaming laptop is a better choice for me.

I have a very similar lenovo legion but with i7 13700k and 4080 in it..the only complaint I have is with the cpu. The air cooler isn't enough to prevent thermal throttling but even when the fan is going at full speed, it's fairly quiet compared to my old amd 5600/2070 super build that sounded like a plane taking off. Too scared to try and remount a bigger cooler on there as I have zero experience with applying thermal paste etc.

you can always replace the noisy stock fans with some quieter ones

I priced it out on PPP and it's cheaper here so I just got it. 5200 ram isn't the best but 32GB is much better than most promos I have seen here. Was going to hold out for 5080 with existing AM4, but doubt it will be under $1500 by itself, so this will be my setup until 6080s arrive in a few years. Applause

Thermal Grizzly Kryosheet means no mess. They have pre-cut for most cpu. Cool

I decided to jump on this, but cannot get the payment to work,
I bought a Lenovo pad on a Black Friday deal, and had very similar issues.
Took me about an hour to find a payment method that would work,
Calling CS was useless, as they would not allow me to use one of my cashback links, which killed the deal.

This may be god's way of telling me to buy an Alienware

Are the fans loud? That's my concern. Let me know. Thanks! 😊
