For those wondering why there's so much positivity around the shoes, Ultraboosts are popular for being extremely comfortable casual shoes because they have that stretchy fabric upper, a comfortable sole/insole, and they look(ed) stylish. They're definitely less popular among sneakerheads than they were six years ago, and the aspects of the design that made them popular have been adopted by other brands, so you could probably buy Nike or Skechers or whatever and get a similar experience.
I have flat, EE wide feet, and UBs are the only non-wide, nice looking sneakers I've found that really feel good on my feet and don't give me the sense of claustrophobia that narrow toe boxes do. They feel like wearing slippers. I like them so much that I own enough pairs to probably last me the rest of my natural life. I have two pairs I have used in my everyday life since 2017, really been run into the ground, and they are still holding together (they'd better, for what they used to cost). Comparatively, I have a slightly older pair of Skechers sneakers (whatever ones were popular a while back, I think every dad in America owned a pair) that I relegated to light housework duty once I got the UBs, and they're not holding up nearly as well.
FWIW I have no brand loyalty to Adidas, and I actually think their NMD sneakers, which are kind of a cheaper UB, look terrible. I just really like these shoes, specifically.
