Curious if they're charging the sales tax on the original purchase price. Last day I picked up a free movie from xfinity, I think the sales tax came to about $1 (6% PA + 1% County).

About the film:
11 year old Harry Potter, who receives a letter saying that he is invited to attend Hogwarts, school of witchcraft and wizardry. He then learns that a powerful wizard and his minions are after the sorcerer's stone that will make this evil wizard immortal and undefeatable.

Xfinity Rrewards is giving away a movie each week. I'm not sure the price for adding Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone to your streaming library, but running it is normally $4 (and with this you own it for free).

Log on to your Xfinity Rewards and near the top they will have the reward for this movie for you to claim.

I had a lapse in service and still had access to my free movies from.them. Not sure if there is a timeframe in which you do lose access or.not though. Have read that you keep no matter what according to other SDers.

No sales here in Mass on any of the free movies I've gotten, but then again, there's no sales tax on digital purchases here.

You can keep your Xfinity library of content even if you no longer pay for Comcast service. The movies that are movie anywhere will play on vudu and itunes (if you link xfinity to movies anywhere) but other movies and and TV shows will require the xfinity app (apple tv, phone, etc) or website to view.

I was not charged sales tax. Maybe it was not so for everyone in the past, but I think it will be this way now. Xfinity now makes the price of the movie '0' (vs cost full price and give you a credit). So by default, sales tax is 0.

Curious where you got the July 7 end date. I didn't see an end date and since it says "Summer of Movies", I was guessing it might run till Labor Day.
