At this price point go with a more established self-cleaning litter box brand like Whisker or Petkit.

LOL.. yikes. Interestingly, most of the negative reviews disappeared in the last 24 hours. Including the "beheading risk" one. I'm pretty sure it had around 20 helpful votes and was the "Top Critical Review". I wonder if the sellers have some way of getting negative reviews suppressed. Pretty shameful that they would want to hide something like that. Someone took the time to write up their concerns, to protect cats from getting hurt, and this seller is more concerned about profit. What a POS.

I have had 2 litter robots (2nd generation and the latest).
I have this one.
and another called furoomate.

The first litter robot lasted a bit more than a year. I haven't yet attempted to replaced the circuit board or wiring.
The newest litter robot cost twice ($800) what this one does (we got the extended warranty due to the first one failing).

This one is favored by the cats over the litter robot (they use it more). No beheadings so far.
The furoomate just arrived recently and it is being used, but hard to tell how well the cats like it.

All of them are much quieter than the older litter robot.

I'd rather have two of these than one of the newest generation litter robot.

how's the furoomate? not really seeing it sold in the States anymore other than eBay in used condition lol, but it is on AliExpress and I love that it's completely open top
