Here is the response of Motorola to unlock of Tracfone Moto G Power 5G 2024 (XT2415V) in the Lenovo Forum. Basically, it states that Tracfone is only one that can solve the problem.

"Thank you for reaching out. I have received your IMEI via PM and I was able to check into this further. Tracfone, and many other carriers are now using Remote Unlock on some devices, this allows the carrier to unlock your device without the need for an unlock code. Your device uses this remote unlock method.

Since Tracfone stated the phone would be unlocked after 24 hours I would wait until that time has elapsed then try inserting a SIM (not a Tracfone SIM) in the device to see if it works. If it doesn't you may need to reach back out to Tracfone to see if something needs to be updated in their system to allow the unlock.

Unfortunately, Tracfone is the only one that can help with this concern. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Becky"

Better to just order it online at Straight Talk website then. You can get 2 of them for $75 and also get around $7 back from cash back shopping site.

Hi, the full link still works--what happened is that when people reply to the message, the SD system abbreviates the URL with an ellipsis, i.e. "...", and that "breaks" it. The full URL is:

https://docs.google.com/spreadshe...FhItlrMewE

Even though there is an ellipsis in the above link on your screen, the embedded/unseen link is correct so it works...

Take a look towards the bottom left corner of the page. When you arrive, you'll be on the "README" tab, which has the explanation you mentioned. Click on the "Enabled" tab right next to the first one to see the list of packages.

For those less familiar with the process, once you filter column C on the "yes" tag, you can simply copy and paste the ~60 command lines in column D into an adb shell session. Hope this helps!
Yes, that did it! Thanks.

Straight Talk doesn't do auto-activate. You have up to 12 months after purchasing to activate. That was confirmed by ST Customer Service when someone in this thread called and asked them.

Can someone answer this question for me as I can't recall. When you place a online order, does the order status indicate "confirmed" right away after doing so or is it first "Pending payment approval", then "confirmed"

thanks
Looking at other posts, my case seems is probably an outlier.

The order has stayed in "Approved" state since June 14th when I ordered. Calling StraightTalk several times has had no effect. They keep insisting the phone is backordered and will be processed when it's available. They are neither able to provide a date nor are they able to cancel the order. They have asked me to go through my bank to cancel the order.

So, I have initiated the cancellation through my credit card company.

I tried it on ST site just now and still could add it to the cart. It says "Back ordered. Ship 7/10" but people still received their shipments before that.

Interesting. So the transaction posted on your credit card account, not pending. Seems like their online system has issues.

I wouldn't leave WM without making a call to make sure it activated/scanned correctly. WM frequently screws this up.
