Here is the response of Motorola to unlock of Tracfone Moto G Power 5G 2024 (XT2415V) in the Lenovo Forum. Basically, it states that Tracfone is only one that can solve the problem.

"Thank you for reaching out. I have received your IMEI via PM and I was able to check into this further. Tracfone, and many other carriers are now using Remote Unlock on some devices, this allows the carrier to unlock your device without the need for an unlock code. Your device uses this remote unlock method.

Since Tracfone stated the phone would be unlocked after 24 hours I would wait until that time has elapsed then try inserting a SIM (not a Tracfone SIM) in the device to see if it works. If it doesn't you may need to reach back out to Tracfone to see if something needs to be updated in their system to allow the unlock.

Unfortunately, Tracfone is the only one that can help with this concern. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Becky"

Better to just order it online at Straight Talk website then. You can get 2 of them for $75 and also get around $7 back from cash back shopping site.

It's more so the carrier. For example, ATT has a whitelist of phones that can be approved on their network. It's best to use their IMEI checker to see if the phone is compatible.

FYI: T-Mobile and their carriers are the most BYOD friendly network. They usually accept phones that are not accepted on networks like ATT And Verizon.
Then it's possible that ATT mvnos could be also be a no go. That said Redpocket GSMA works. Confirmed in a previous post.

For how long? It could get kicked off the network at any time.

Those people that couldn't unlock their phones:
When did you buy it?
When did you activate it?
Did you buy one phone or 2 phones? If you bought 2, did you bought both in one transaction?
Did you keep the phone ON most of the time during the 30 days of service?
Did you use ADB Command to Uninstall something?
Did you remove its original sim card And put in another sim card during the 30 days of service?
- Unlock SMS text told me I'd be unlocked on 8/17. Today is 8/17 and I just checked it's unlocked in the setting (tested with new sim card works)
- Both 2 in 1 transaction
- Didn't use ADB nor remove sim card. Just let it sits in drawer
Idk who dislike but i love it

Yeah I checked IMEI on Redpocket it's compatible. Not compatible on H2O, Cricket and At&t website. I contacted US mobile to see if it would work on their new att "dark star plan", the rep said it "should" work but cannot promise Big Grin

REPS to anyone that 100% knows if I can sell the service without selling the phone on ebay or just to someone I give the code to? Can I activate four different phones with 1 card by transferring service to each phone within the month so they will all unlock?

Possibly but the CEO of US Mobile said in this Reddit comment that they don't follow ATT's whitelist

Tracfone brands like ST stopped using activation cards several years ago so there is no code.
Phone plan is preloaded on sim which is linked to IMEI of phone it ships with, won't activate on different phone so useless to sell. It's to keep people from doing what you're trying to do.
Since some are having unlocking issues I don't recommend playing around with activation if your goal is an unlocked phone.

In my experience, Red Pocket doesn't either. Have used numerous non-whitelisted phones on GSMA. RP CS even reactivated a suspended phone (for lost/stolen report - not properly scanned from warehouse) twice. Just one user's five years of observation.
* I was curious about the new V-suffix model phones so am glad to hear that it works, too.

Did these non- white listed phones work long enough without no hiccups after getting reactivated by RP GSMA CS?

Should be ok. I'm on day two with the FP/RP sim. I don't have an active ATT sim to try.

The non-whitelisted phones I've used as long as I needed, over a year. I just changed out phones on GSMA for variety. They were never suspended. The one suspended phone was a different situation. It was an ATT-branded phone I bought from Target. I purposely bought it for in-store pickup but it went OOS before I could pick it up (<8 hours) so I opted for it to be shipped to me. Presumably the warehouse didn't scan it properly before shipping, i.e., the Walmart scenario, so it was flagged as lost/stolen after I put it on RP. Think I used it for a week or more before it got suspended, unsuspended, and then suspended again after another week. Finally, I just returned it to Target when they had another phone back in-store and could be sure it was scanned.

Does #TFUNLOCK# show SIM is Unlocked? Also about phone - Network Lock (Unlocked or Locked)?

It shows Sim is Locked and Network status is locked. I've done the sit and wait, the factory reset 2 times, wifi on - airplane off, etc.
