They are separate tracks, one you can do every 12 months, and another every 24 months!

Anyone know if you can have your paycheck direct deposited into your spouses bank account? Do the names need to match up, or is the routing/account number all you need? (spouse is unemployed, but wouldn't mind having her get the $900 bonus too)

I attempted a $15k transfer from my primary online banking account (non-Chase), and it was rejected. Assuming it's getting flagged because it's just too much money in one transfer, anyone know if there's a sweet spot for transfers that won't get flagged/rejected? Multiple transactions in smaller denominations?

Hello, I enrolled for a similar chase checking and savings offer in Oct 2022 and closed the accounts by June 2023. If i understand the fine print properly, I can get this $900 bonus if I enroll now as my last coupon enrollment date was in Oct 2022 and it is over 24 months now. Or since I closed the accounts in June 2023, I am not eligible for bonus until June 2025? Do someone have similar experience from the past of enrolling two time in similar manner and got the bonus from chase? Thanks in advance

11/21 - second direct deposit

still no bonus.

EDIT: 11/29 still no bonus.

Does anyone know if there is a minimum direct deposit that must be made to get the checking bonus? Some offers from other banks require 5K or so over the 90 days. What about Chase? Thanks!

No minimum stated in terms, aside from no "micro deposits" (under $1)

Got rejection right on the date when I was supposed to get the bonus, was showing that funds were deposited and 90 day period was complete on 12/6. Anyone have the same issue? Who do I have to call since I opened online and not in the branch?

Follow up, I had to go into a branch to open the accounts, they buggered up my info in their systems. I set up both, met the saving req. For the checking, I ACH transferred from BofA, no luck, and I didn't expect to. I set the account up to receive ebay payments, that worked. I was also going to try buying a 4 week Tbill through treasurydirect.gov and have it pay out to the chase account. I am fairly certain that would work since it's a government payout. Failing that I was going to look at setting up payroll providers from my banks, or https://onlinecheckwriter.com/. Also setting up Amazon selling and have that pay out.

TLDR use ebay payments, no minimum, check the app and it will show the criteria met after three days or so. Ebay really sucks these days BTW, their sales takes a huge cut and they nanny the thing to death. But it's good for this

TLDR2 try treasurydirect.gov payout. Please share any results, that doctor of credit post everyone points to is like 7 years old.

I had the same thing. Internally their records were jacked for my address. Once that was fixed, they did that chase thing, "we'll send you a letter". i went to the branch and they got it done.

10 days later the letter showed up at my address, saying they couldn't tell who I was or what my address was. At the address they sent the letter. And I have like 15 cards with them, and they have my IDs a few times over.

Pretty sad. The office was pretty good though. You have to book an appointment which is fine with me
