Recently upgraded from old Sony LED to Samsung s90c . I believe Sony picture quality is much better compared to Samsung OLEDs and extra price for Sony is justified.

First of all Costco does not price match .com or other costcos. When the manufacturer sees that there is stock on an item that is not selling good at one location they will approve a mark down. If there is another costco near this store but the same item is selling they won't mark it down for such store. As far as TV goes if there is only one left on a pending delete tv they are allow to mark it down from 10% to 30% and that's to the warehouse manager's discretion.

Yes the Sony had better processing but the QD-OLED is brighter.

If you plan to use it in a bright room like living room opt for the LG or samsung. If you intend to use it in a a dark room like game room then sony is the best.

People like the OP are the worse because they see one item marked down and knowing that is only one they come in here a post it as if is the price for more than 1 unit. Costco A can have a TV at $1599.00 because is either the display or a saleable return unit unopened. Costco B that is 13 miles away can have it at $2699 because they still have 10 in stock. This is totally different from Costco A having a Gazebo at 1599.99 with 5 units on hand and Costco B havint it for 1299.97 with 30 on hand.

Was the one you saw the display/floor model, or were there still several in stock? (Seems unlikely they'd discount anything except the floor model so steeply)

Got it for $2499 last year it's an amazing TV I always play the OLED demo videos in 4K on YouTube to my guests- picture is fantastic for video and PS5 games. It's a $1000 off now wow 😮

These are floor models. Best buy is clearing them out, too.

I was waiting for this deal for the last 2 months and settled for the Sam's Club LG C3 $1499 deal that I had to hunt down and pickup 100+ miles away.

Good deal if you can find one near you.
My Hero... wish i was able to get one, all were sold near me. Maybe next time.

I agree. These Costco "in store" deals are highly YMMV. Has anyone else found this TV at this price at their local Costco? Wasted gas and time (not to mention dealing with the parking lot!). Not to mention Costco is still so 20 years ago, you can't even search online and find locations that actually have the product!

Maybe next time I find a $10 bill on the street, I'll post a "FREE $10 bill" deal listing the location I found it! Big Grin

Saw the Sony 77" for $1400 the other day, display model only though.

Is there a way to post pics on iphone? Can't seem to find a way.

If you live by a Micro Center please check them out. They also have the Sony A80CL TV for the same price. Though I'd prefer Costco's warranty I can vouch that I bought one through Micro Center and it has been working great.

The above link describes the c3 as being slightly better at most things except processing and upscaling, but the difference between the two is so minimal I personally think it comes down to which one you find the right price on.
