Just read hundreds of reviews. Think I'll try it out but seems like not very good cameras with major recording delays and you have to pay for subscriptions otherwise pain in the butt to delete clips from USB.

Thanks for all the replies. I already have 3 XT2, which holds the batteries for at least 6 months with moderate use (2-10 alerts a day per cam) and I have grand fathered free cloud recording plan. I also bought blink doorbell with sync module which is horrible to say the least. They both behave the same way in terms of instant alerts. They does give you an instant alert but there is 10s delay and you can't see what the alert is until 10s lag is passed. Also the sync module misses some recordings if there's any issue (intermittent connection, SD card full or whatever). I will go with NVR setup. If multiple users want to view the alert or want to see the live view while it generates an alert, you have to wait at least 10 more secs.

this is one of those items YOU need to try yourself in your specific way. actually that can be said for most any slickdeals items. no one else's review/comment is likely to help. with amazon, you have 30 days, you'll know by then if it's a keeper or not for you. personally, we've been impressed with our model of this camera. it's worked almost perfectly, and without their cloud offer. but again, your expectations & gadget experience will likely be different then me. but do try it, especially at this price.

I'm not sure if this was mentioned as I did not get a chance to read through all the comments but as a Blink Plus member you get another 10% off. This deal contains 4 cameras and a sync module. It ships in two shipments, one is the 3-camera system that has the sync module, the other is a single add-on camera.
