DNS lookup failure for slickdeals.net on multiple servers Wednesday 2024-06-26 7am EDT

very few DNS servers around the world are reporting the proper DNS for slickdeals.net

I'm getting failures from 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8

(should respond 104.17.125.18)

Thank you for the report. The dev team is on it but no ETA yet on when it will be resolved. Hopefully soon.

If the VPN provider is using opendns, which many do, they are using a cached entry and haven't removed it

Thank you. I assume the devs already know about that but will let them know just in case. They're still working on the issue but I think they have an idea what the problem is though I'm no dev, so hopefully it'll be working normally again soon.

I'm not aware of any other domains affected so someone on the Slickdeals side must have messed up the name registration.
