You have to REGISTER at skil's website within 30 days or purchase to upgrade from 2 to 5 year warranty.
I believe fine print says non commercial, residential use only for the 5 year upgrade.
But the 20V PWR CORE brushless drill and impact drivers I have are so much more compact and nicer than their Ryobi brushless equivalents.
This coming from a Ryobi die-hard. (Former DeWalt.)
I have a ton of m18 tools for heavy duty use but find myself using these more often when possible.
I'm not arguing about the value of Skil, as I think we can all agree that the value of this deal is exceptional. And I'm not griping about the performance or quality of their tools either, as they are plenty good, especially for homeowner use. My only bone to pick is with those who insist that Skil is just as good as M12 Fuel.
This is already a great deal for 5 tools at the price of single tool from the professional brands. There's no need to embellish the truth to make it seem better than it already is.
