Screw west elm, they copy products and designs from small businesses and cost them their livelihoods. They sold a Million dollars worth of something they copied exactly from someone I know, and paid a few bucks to settle. An insider said they do it all the time like that movie Antitrust

Any comments on this deal? I personally like West Elm's style, though typically the prices are too expensive for me. However, right now the extra 40% off clearance pricing is quite reasonable/slick.

This sale's also going on in stores, yet my local store has a very, very, very limited selection of clearance items available. (I've looked!) So buying online might be the best option, YMMV.

Agree that West Elm is usually too expensive but this 40% off deal makes it tolerable. Most of the stuff we have purchased from West Elm has held up really well so I do think it's worth it and like the style.

I've been on the look out for a lounge chair and this fit the bill.

I didn't see this option. I could only ship to home or a UPS access point and even then, the large items would still have to ship to home. It would have been nice to save on shipping

Was going to down vote but then realized the prices on website don't reflect the 40% discount. There's some good buys. Not a fan of west elm, even though I have some furniture with no real complaints, other than overpriced.. however, with this sale, it's actually some deals

I was looking at home decor, not furniture. I think the retail locations might not have room to store furniture for pickup.

Just a retailer sourcing cheap products and sell them at overly inflated prices. They have good marketing to make people think their products are unique and high quality.
